BMW 4219 EliObviously, we’ve big fans of BMW here at Select Auto Imports – but when something like this happens, it really shows why they’re so far above and beyond other auto manufacturers.

Recently, on the automotive website Jalopnik, a reader told one of the site authors about his four-year-old’s dream car. Little Eli told his daddy that he wanted to build a seriously awesome BMW vehicle, with very specific specifications that only a four-year-old could dream up. Jalopnik posted the specs and asked the readers to come up with concept drawings based on the specs.

Incredibly enough, BMW caught wind and posted that they wanted a crack at designing the car. They followed through, and with amazing style. They actually created a computer rendering of what Eli’s car would look like – and it looks totally awesome.

BMW 4219 Eli - 4 year old's dream car

Eli’s specifications were closely followed:

  • It has to be a BMW
  • 42 wheels, and of course 42-wheel drive
  • Powered by 19 Porsche engines, each engine producing 459 horsepower.
  • All engines linked to a single transmission.
  • Three seats, three steering wheels – all operating simultaneously
  • The trunk would be full of toys, and you could play in it
