The 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata is a hot little convertible. Part roadster, part affordable sports car, it has a 2.0 liter engine, four cylinders inline, and 167 horsepower for manual or 158 hp for automatic. The Mazda MX-5 Miata also corners like it’s on rails and has an MSRP under $24,000. The car is available in three trim packages: the basic Sport, the higher performing Club, and the luxury Grand Touring. The 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata was so highly anticipated because of the low price point and high performance.

Nissan Titan Truck

The Nissan Titan got a complete overhaul for 2015. This year, the truck only comes in a short-bed (5-foot-7-inch for crew cab and 6.5 foot for King Cab) option, has four-wheel drive available on every trim package, and only has one engine option — a 5.6-liter V8 with 317 horsepower and 385 pounds of torque per foot. The 2015 Nissan Titan has an MSRP around $32,000. What makes the Titan so highly anticipated is its powerful engine, domestic production (it is manufactured in Mississippi), impressive handling, and standard four-wheel drive. The Nissan Titan also offers some luxury features in the SL package, like rear-seat DVD, leather seat, Rockford Fosgate audio, and real-time traffic.

The 2015 BMW X5 M is a beast. BBC Top Gear said this beautiful SUV has the “ability to pulverize supercars while carrying four in massive comfort” — and no wonder. It features a twin-turbo V8, 4.4 liter engine, has an eight speed automatic transmission. With the Competition Package, the X5 M can push out up to 575 horsepower and hit 40 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. The car is computer-limited at 155 miles per hour, but the previous editions could reach 205 mph and didn’t have this engine. The MSRP on the 2015 BMW X5 M starts at $93,600.

Lexus RC F Coupe

The Lexus RC F Coupe has all the interior features you would expect from a Lexus and an MSRP of just over $72,000. What really sets this vehicle apart from the pack is its engine. The 2015 Lexus RC F Coupe features an 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission and a 5.0 liter V8 engine. This luxury monster delivers 467 horsepower and 389 pounds of torque per foot.

These vehicles were each talked about a fair bit coming into the year, and each for different reasons. Whether you are in the market for a new vehicle yourself or just curious, these wildly talked about vehicles tend to point the way to where the market is headed.
